How much do your services cost?
Your event cost will depend upon the number of guests, the length of your event, your food selections, the rentals required and the beverages consumed by your guests. Your wedding reception is important to us and we will strive to make it special and unique.
What type of food do you serve?
The Sinful Dish can provide classic Continental/European, traditional American, Californian, Classic or Nuevo Southern, Caribbean, Asian, Mediterranean, Italian and Spanish. All menus are custom prepared for you under the direction of Executive Chef Michael Zahn and his professional culinary staff. We use only fresh seasonal ingredients
to insure the highest quality.
The Sinful Dish does not use pre-made frozen appetizers, frozen soups, pre-made salad dressings or marinades. With no exceptions, all menu items are made-from-scratch in our commercial kitchen. The Sinful Dish is proud to offer alternatives to the typical catered foods.
As all menus are custom designed for your event, special dietary needs can be accommodated. Low fat, Vegan, Vegetarian, Low Cholesterol, Sugar Free, Wheat Free, Peanut Free and Gluten Free menu ideas are available. Let us take care of your guests

How and where do you prepare the food and how do you transport it?
All of our food preparation occurs at our licensed commercial kitchen. Whenever possible we will cook your hot menu items on site with portable commercial grade propane ovens and burners. Regardless of cold or hot, all of our food is transported in special insulated containers for high quality and food safety. For buffets, hot foods are presented in hot water chafing dishes to maintain proper temperature.

How will food be plated or displayed?
Since appearance is as important as taste, The Sinful Dish has a variety of modern display service ware for buffet service. The Sinful Dish’s buffet service ware is always on china, glass, stainless steel or pottery. At the clients request we will use ultra high-end disposables which replicate the look of real plates and silverware.
Do you provide linens?
The Sinful Dish will rent, deliver, set-up, tear-down and return all needed linens. All linens will match and be free from soil and runs. We can provide a selection of 12 standard linen colors and several different custom colors and fabrics.
Do you supply glasses, plates and silverware?
The Sinful Dish will rent our own glasses, appetizer plates, dinner plates, dessert plates and stainless flatware. If you are having a full bar or just a specialty cocktail, we can also provide cosmopolitan, rocks, martini and high-ball glasses. In addition, our preferred rental company has a wide variety of china patterns, glassware and flatware that The Sinful Dish can manage for your event.
Do you handle all rental equipment such as tables and chairs?
The Sinful Dish can manage all aspects of rental equipment including; delivery, set-up, clean-up and return. The Sinful Dish does not markup the rental company’s standard rates. We do however require prepayment for all rentals. Set-up by the rental company is included in the cost of the dance floor and canopy tents.
Do you make arrangements for flowers and decorations?
The Sinful Dish works with a few selected florists. We will be more than happy to share with you our expertise and make arrangements for flowers and other decorations using our preferred suppliers.
Do you provide the wedding cake?
The Sinful Dish is not a bakery and does not provide wedding cakes. We have seen cakes from many different bakeries and would be pleased to recommend the best bakeries. The Sinful Dish can also provide other desserts to compliment your cake and supply dessert alternatives for your guests.
Is there a cake cutting fee?
The Sinful Dish does not charge a fee for cutting your wedding cake.
Do you provide beer, wine, champagne and liquor?
The Sinful Dish Provides a full range of beverage services with professional, licensed servers and bartenders. Additionally we will provide you with event liability insurance up to $1,000,000.00 specific to your events location. The Sinful Dish believes that beverage service is an integral part of any menu and will assist in selecting beverages that will compliment your menu.
In accordance with Georgia law and responsible business practices, The Sinful Dish will only serve alcoholic beverages when substantial food and non-alcoholic beverages are also provided. The Sinful Dish will require age verification for any guest who appears under 30 years of age, and will not serve to individuals who appear intoxicated.
Do you charge a corkage fee?
The Sinful Dish does not charge a corkage fee and would be happy to open a special bottle for the bridal party at no charge.
How do we know what we will be purchasing?
The Sinful Dish will provide exact portion size information for each menu item and will breakdown our quotation for food, service and rental. We will allow you to specify the portion sizes of the entrees. The quotation will specify a cost per person for a range of guests in attendance. Prior to the final count, if your predicted attendance changes, we will provide a new quotation.
Do you automatically add service charges?
We add all customary service charges and sales tax. (Service charges include but are not limited to; set-up, clean-up, trash removal, uniforms.) We compensate our professional staff with an above average wage, and it is our standard expectation that the service at your event will be excellent. The Sinful Dish will provide a detailed proposal for your event with all the expected costs.
Do you require a deposit and when is payment due?
The Sinful Dish requires a 50% non refundable deposit to hold your date up to one year. The balance of the cost is due the week prior to your event. In order to keep our prices reasonable we prefer cash or check, but credit cards are cheerfully accepted.
When do you need a final attendance count?
Generally, the final count is required one week (7 days) prior to your event. If your menu requires exotic meats or other special items, a final count may be required earlier.
Do you offer food tasting and references?
After narrowing your menu, The Sinful Dish can prepare specific food items for tasting at our commercial kitchen. As all of the food is made-from-scratch, we will have three to four hours of culinary preparation time to get ready for your tasting. To offset this cost a negotiated charge between $50 and $100 for a tasting, depending on ingredients and menu items will be assessed.

Will you pack a bridal basket?
With all the excitement of the reception, sometimes it is difficult for the bride and groom to enjoy the food, so The Sinful Dish is pleased to pack a special bridal basket for the newlyweds.
What will be done with excess food?
At catered events there is undoubtedly some extra food, The Sinful Dish allows the client to take the extra food. We strongly recommend prompt refrigeration and appropriate storage of all food products taken from the event.
As part of our “Company Mission” to be a responsible community member, The Sinful Dish will also donate extra food to local charities and those in need within our own community. |
